Thank You, Volunteers! In recognition of National Volunteer Week, the Institute would like to thank the volunteers who make our programming successful year-after-year.

Our Executive and Policy & Accreditation Committees are comprised of dedicated volunteers. These volunteers provide the time and other resources that are so essential to ensuring continued vitality of the Certified Municipal Manager program and the Ontario Municipal Management Institute. We are so honoured to have representatives from across the Province show such passion and devotion to strengthening the quality of local government administration through accreditation, training, and career development. We are able to recognize the many achievements of our members through the efforts of these generous individuals. Thank you so much to our current volunteers and those who have made contributions in the past.

The CMM Program

We currently have over 1,000 active members in the Certified Municipal Manager (CMM) accreditation program, representing a wide-variety of local government and municipal occupations at all levels, from front-line staff to senior managers. The CMM program provides a framework for career development and provides recognition for academic and professional accomplishments through a point-based evaluation.
